Discover the magic of art and nature with Art to Grow from the Dixon Gallery and Gardens! On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 3:30 p.m., students in Pre-K through 5th grade are invited to take part in a creative, hands-on workshop led by the talented Art to Grow instructors.
Each lesson is grade-specific, aligning with Tennessee Academic Standards, and combines a fun presentation with a guided art project inspired by the Dixon’s current exhibitions and collections. Students will explore age-appropriate tools and techniques while learning about both fine art and horticulture—a perfect blend of creativity and discovery!
Presented by a museum known for its vibrant gardens and world-class art, this program brings the Dixon’s unique cross-disciplinary approach right to your local library.

The Lucius E. and Elsie C. Burch, Jr. Library serves the Town of Collierville as an information hub offering materials and programming for all ages, three 4-person study rooms, and a 40-person meeting room. It sits in a beautiful location in Halle Park near Collierville Town Hall.
