Is your student ready for the PSAT this fall? The PSAT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) is more than just practice - it plays a key role in preparing students for the SAT and can even qualify them for the prestigious National Merit Scholarship Program. Strong performance can open doors to scholarships, academic recognition, and valuable college readiness opportunities.
In this workshop, students will learn:
- What to Expect on the PSAT – Format, timing, and scoring breakdown.
- Test-Taking Strategies – How to manage time, eliminate wrong answers, and approach tricky questions.
- Math & Reading/Writing Tips – Quick refreshers on key concepts most commonly tested.
- Confidence Boosters – Mindset strategies to help students stay calm and focused under pressure.
We will meet in the Halle Room on Saturday, October 4, from 1 - 2:30 p.m. for this program. For students in grades 9 - 12. Registration is required and will open on September 20, 2025. There is a $29 fee per student.

The Lucius E. and Elsie C. Burch, Jr. Library serves the Town of Collierville as an information hub offering materials and programming for all ages, three 4-person study rooms, and a 40-person meeting room. It sits in a beautiful location in Halle Park near Collierville Town Hall.
