Women's Self Defense

Topics such as carjacking, bar safety, human trafficking and other scenarios are discussed. The practical self defense techniques focus on finding your inner voice, hitting vulnerable targets, and creating time and space to make your way to safety.
No prior martial arts experience is needed. Comfortable clothing and readiness to move are encouraged!
About the Presenter:
Sensei Wendy Cohen, founder of MidSouth Okinawan Karate, brings over 35 years of experience in Okinawan Karate. She is a 5th Degree Blackbelt and Certified Senior Instructor in the Seibukai System of Goju Ryu Karate, as well as a 3rd Degree Blackbelt in the Ryukonkai Weapons System. Sensei Wendy specializes in practical self-defense, helping students discover their inner strength while learning in a welcoming, supportive environment.
Please register beginning at 10 AM on Saturday, November 22, two weeks before the program.
