Experience the magic of music and storytelling with Tunes & Tales featuring the Memphis Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, May 24 from 11:00–11:45 a.m. in the Storytelling Room. Best for ages 3–8, this special program combines a live reading of Isabella is Not My Name by Jennifer Fosberry with musical accompaniment by MSO musicians—bringing the inspiring story to life in a whole new way. No registration required; open until capacity is reached.
In this empowering tale, Isabella imagines herself as trailblazing women throughout history—from astronaut Sally Ride to civil rights icon Rosa Parks and sharpshooter Annie Oakley—learning that being her extraordinary self is the greatest role of all.
About Tunes & Tales: Presented by the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, this interactive series pairs live music with beloved children’s books to create a dynamic and memorable literary experience.

The Lucius E. and Elsie C. Burch, Jr. Library serves the Town of Collierville as an information hub offering materials and programming for all ages, three 4-person study rooms, and a 40-person meeting room. It sits in a beautiful location in Halle Park near Collierville Town Hall.
