Do you want to foster a love of reading in your children, grandchildren, or students? Are you looking for screen free activities to make story time more engaging for your family or classroom?
This workshop will give you tools to meet these goals and will answer questions like:
In addition to these questions, this class will also introduce you to the Read Me An Adventure book series that uses a back-to-basics approach for literature-based activities for young children.
Join teacher and homeschool mom Margaret Walker to learn about the benefits of reading aloud and spend some hands-on time making and enjoying a few projects from favorite children's books. When you have completed the workshop, you will have starter packs for four activities that you can take home to your young listeners. It's time to turn your story time into an adventure!

The Lucius E. and Elsie C. Burch, Jr. Library serves the Town of Collierville as an information hub offering materials and programming for all ages, three 4-person study rooms, and a 40-person meeting room. It sits in a beautiful location in Halle Park near Collierville Town Hall.
