Discover the joy of drawing and visual journaling in the 2nd session of this sketchbook series led by local artist Boo Mason.
This session builds on foundational skills introduced earlier in the series, with guided prompts that encourage experimentation, personal expression, and confidence in your sketching practice.
Participants will explore new techniques and materials while combining drawing and journaling to capture ideas, stories, and moments on the page. Whether you attended Session 1 or are joining for the first time, this relaxed, supportive session is designed for all skill levels.

About the Presenter
Boo Mason is a Memphis-based artist, teacher, and muralist with a passion for community and creativity. A graduate of Memphis College of Art and online student at Savannah College of Art and Design, Boo has showcased her work throughout the Mid-South—from murals at Sakura Japanese Restaurant in Germantown to exhibits at American Tuxedo in Bartlett and Riverdale. She is a member of the Memphis Arts Collective and was a featured live painter with the winning team at the 2024 Southern Bride Magazine Styled Challenge. Boo is also a co-creator of Aura Spa, an immersive sensory art experience blending visuals, aromatherapy, and music to support mental wellness.

The Lucius E. and Elsie C. Burch, Jr. Library serves the Town of Collierville as an information hub offering materials and programming for all ages, three 4-person study rooms, and a 40-person meeting room. It sits in a beautiful location in Halle Park near Collierville Town Hall.
